Christmas Runner workshop 2014 September 20th

This is the sample for the Christmas runner workshop.
 Zoe stayed with traditional colours and also had trees on her trees. She made sure they were the right way up.
 Jayne chose Blue for her Christmas runner
 Lyn selected trees and more trees which worked well.
Betty added green to give more contrast to her Christmas runner

Spring/Summer 2014

 Margaret has finished her crazy/pinwhell Kaffe quilt
 Carol has done her A-Z quilt.



 Julie has made these 2cushions trying to use up her leftovers.
 Lots of the students have made blocks for our second quilt for Julias House


 Alex has made this quilt for her sister.  

Sue made this diamond shaped quilt with Yellow smilies on.

 Zoe has made her first item and its the famous bag.
Jo needed a new bag for her bits and pieces for class and made this bag of her own design.
 Estelle experimented with this picture of a field of poppies.
 Susanne won this material from a magazine and made this rustic hexagon quilt.
Cherril made this triangular quilt with very effective colour way.
 Helen has advanced in leaps and bounds in her sewing skills and made her first bag.
Helen tried the 16 squares bag.

Sue has made this bright stunning quilt.

Linda has worked hard on making these beach huts machine pieced and hand quilted.
Shelly has made a bowl with Fast 2 Fuse.

Vanessa has dived in to doing a sew a row quilt to learn different techniques.
Mary has completed this for her daughter. The blocks were fom the East quilts West book by Kumiko Sudo.
Gloria has redistributed a panel and a super result.

 Carol has finished her bag and warns that using polyester made it quite a challenge.
